The Benn High Redevelopment Project at Hale Resources has been selected as one of the "Vital Projects" in the Southern Vermont Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy for 2023.
This recognition comes after a rigorous selection process, where our project stood out among 97 submissions. Our initiative aims to repurpose the historic Bennington High School into a multi-faceted community asset, featuring affordable housing and a community center.

At The Bennington Leadership Summit, Shannon Barsotti from the Town of Bennington and Zak Hale from Hale Resources showcase the Benn Hi Project. This initiative aims to revamp an abandoned high school building into 37 apartments, as well as community and office spaces. The building has remained unoccupied since 2004.
